My dear friends, the Potter family, survived the devastating Hill Country flooding in Texas, but now they have to rebuild. Much of this has fallen on Kassie while Luke, as a first responder, has been working tirelessly to save and recover those swept away.
For those unfamiliar with this amazing family, a little back story. I met Kassie in college at Tarleton State University. We were roommates, teammates, and classmates. She is SUPERMOM to 4 kids and the hardest worker I have ever met with the biggest heart. Luke is a proud former Army soldier, long-term first responder, and devoted family man. Their children are Keagan, Kaleb, Kash, and Keely. They have been through so much this year.
They lost nearly everything in the catastrophic flooding. Their home was severely flooded, vehicles totaled, and to add to the devastation, FEMA doesn't recognize their area as being in the disaster zone. The road to recovery will be long and expensive. Home repairs, replacement of essentials, and rebuilding the life they worked so hard to create.
Every donation, no matter how small, helps provide shelter, food, and hope. Please share, donate, pray, and lift this family back up—just as they have done for so many others.
