Help The Portolesi's recover from house fire
Donation protected
This fundraiser is to raise money to aid the Portolesi Family in rebuilding their lives after a devastating house fire left them homeless.
On Memorial Day, 5/30/22, while grocery shopping with her husband and three children, Alyssa received a terrifying call that their family home was on fire. When she and her husband arrived at the scene, they quickly discovered that an electrical fire had destroyed and ruined their family home and everything inside, leaving them with nothing. Their three cats - Boots, Kitler and Marley were also tragically lost in the fire. While both of their dogs Moose and Brutis made it out alive, they are currently at the vet receiving oxygen from difficulty breathing due to all of the smoke.
Thankfully their three children Leah (7), Ellie (6), and Logan (4) were with Alyssa and Anthony and not at home during the time of the fire. The Portolesi's were just weeks away from relocating to Orlando, Florida to start a new life in central FLA and are now left with nothing, as all of their personal belongings and assets were destroyed in the fire. While nothing can replace their personal memories and tangible belongings, financial assistance will help them replace the physical needs and necessities that we often take for granted every day. They were left with only the clothing on their back and are in dire need of personal care items, clothing, food/groceries, and financial assistance to help them rebuild their lives during this devastating and uncertain time.
Listed below are sizes for all three children:
- Leah (Age 7): Clothing size 10/12. Shoe size 4/5.
- Ellie (Age 6): Clothing size 6/7. Shoe size 13/1.
- Logan (Age 4): Clothing size 4T/5T. Shoe size 11.
All funds will go directly to Alyssa and her family to help them find temporary hotel accommodations until they move, clothing and food for them and their children, and aid them in getting back on their feet so they can rebuild a new life in Orlando, FL.
While nothing can replace the items and memories that have been taken away from them, we can always trust in the goodness and power of community, co-workers and friends who can provide the support that is needed to help them move forward. Thank you to everyone in advance for helping us surround Alyssa and her family with compassion and generosity in this critical time of need. Any donation received will help them tremendously and is greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate monetarily, your prayers are just as important and valuable. Please keep this amazing family in your prayers as they navigate forward. God Bless you all!
