Help the Pool Family Honor Maria Isolda's (Chela's) Memory

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Maria Isolda Pool Arias. She had been suffering from severe and unexplained stomach issues that led to a rapid and drastic weight loss—over 60 pounds in just one month. Despite numerous medical consultations, no doctor was able to identify the cause of her intestinal pain or her rapidly declining health. Tragically, her condition worsened to the point where her body could no longer sustain itself, and she passed away peacefully in her sleep around 4 a.m. on Friday, May 16th.

Maria's passing has left her family devastated and facing unexpected funeral and burial expenses. Her beloved husband, Grandpa Catalino, wishes to honor her memory by laying her to rest at Forest Lawn in Hollywood Hills—close to their son, Shubert, who passed away at the age of 15 and was buried there in 1986. Being reunited with their son in eternal rest is a final wish the family is hoping to fulfill.

Con gran pesar compartimos el fallecimiento de Maria Isolda Pool Arias. Durante el último mes, sufrió problemas estomacales graves y sin explicación médica que le causaron una pérdida de peso rápida y drástica—más de 60 libras en tan solo un mes. A pesar de haber acudido a múltiples consultas médicas, ningún doctor logró identificar la causa de su dolor intestinal ni del deterioro acelerado de su salud. Trágicamente, su condición empeoró hasta el punto en que su cuerpo ya no pudo resistir, y falleció tranquilamente mientras dormía alrededor de las 4 a.m. del viernes 16 de mayo.

Su partida ha dejado a su familia profundamente devastada y enfrentando gastos funerarios y de sepelio inesperados. Su amado esposo, el Abuelo Catalino, desea honrar su memoria sepultándola en el cementerio Forest Lawn en Hollywood Hills—junto a su hijo Shubert, quien falleció a los 15 años y fue enterrado allí en 1986. Reunirlos en el descanso eterno es un deseo muy especial que la familia espera poder cumplir.
