Jesus came to take Joseph home on August 3, 2021. He fought until the very end and passed away peacefully in his parent's arms.

In September of 2020, 2-year old Joseph was diagnosed with a rare genetic immune deficiency disorder called Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD), which can be cured with a bone marrow transplant.

On January 19, 2021 Joseph was checked in to Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston to begin 8 days of chemo in order wipe out his immune system to receive his transplant. After completing chemo, Joseph received his bone marrow transplant on January 29th. Almost a month later, on February 27th Joseph got to go home and would just have to go to the hospital 3 days a week for medication, transfusions, and bloodwork.

Then, on March 8th Joseph was re-admitted to the hospital with a virus and fluid in his lungs. Since that day, Joseph has been in an uphill battle, placed in pediatric ICU, and is currently on a ventilator, for the 3rd time. Joseph has shown strength and just how resilient he truly is. Joseph is a fighter, but he is not fighting alone.

Since Joseph has been in the PICU his parents, Greg & Sarah, have not left his side. Greg & Sarah have been so strong for Joseph and have faith that is admirable. These two would never ask for help, but we have had so many requests from people that want to help support the family financially, on top of the prayers, that we have set up this account up on their behalf. Prayers for Joseph’s healing and any monetary donation you wish to make would be greatly appreciated. All funds will go directly to the Pollard family.
