Help the Poland Family Rebuild After a Devastating House Fire ❤️‍ :

On Sunday morning around 6 a.m., Venessa and her husband, Steve and children woke up to the unthinkable — their home was on fire. The flames tore through their kitchen and spread throughout the house.

Thankfully, their entire family and animals made it out safely. But as you can see from the photos, the damage was catastrophic. The fire, traced back to a refrigerator malfunction, completely gutted their home from the basement to the roof. Every room was destroyed — ceilings collapsed, insulation ripped open, belongings burned or water-damaged beyond repair.

Right now, they are are staying in a hotel that has kindly welcomed their family and pets while they wait on insurance and begin the long, emotional process of rebuilding. They’ve been told it could take 90–120 days before they can return home. My aunt had a similar fire, and it took over a year for her to get back into her home.

This fire comes after years of fighting through other challenges — including Venessa’s battle with cancer — and yet, through it all, she’s remained humble, grateful, and unwilling to ask for help herself.

But this is where we, her friends, family and community step in. ❤️

This fundraiser is to help them with immediate needs like:

• Temporary living expenses (hotel costs, food, gas)

• Clothing and essentials for their kids

• Pet care and supplies

• Replacing lost household items while they wait for rebuilding

• Lost wages

Insurance may take time to pay out, and this can help them get on their feet in the meantime.
