Words can’t express our gratitude for your love and support the last few days. We are so grateful for all of you.

As many of you are aware, countless families lost their homes in the Lahaina fires on August 8, 2023. We know so many of these families personally and our hearts are broken for them.

Among these families is my brother’s family. Pedro, Kika, Lucas, and Nicolas (Nico) lost everything but each other to the fires. Pedro and Kika recently visited what remains of their home and confirmed it was completely leveled.

Many of you have asked how you can help. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to send supplies or care packages to them directly, as Lahaina is inaccessible to non-emergency vehicles. However, please know that they have benefitted from the generosity of donations of water, food, clothing, and hygiene products made to local organizations on the ground providing immediate relief. Please consider donating to one of these organizations to continue to provide immediate relief to all Lahaina families who are all in desperate need. We cannot stress enough how desperate their needs are. Please do your research and donate responsibly.

Beyond their immediate needs though, Pedro, Kika, Lucas, and Nico will need long-term recovery support. Please consider sharing and/or donating to this page. All donations made will go directly to the Pinto Family. No donation is too small and every single donation will have a huge impact for this family.
