Help the Peyton Family Rebuild and Heal
Donation protected
Hi. I'm William Livingston, a close friend of Andy Peyton and his family. As you are likely aware, his family had a tragic accident this past Saturday, March 29. Their 16-year-old son, Cole, was severely burned as a result of an explosion while operating one of his miniature model engines. Cole was completely engulfed in flames. Thankfully Sonya, Andy and their daughter Lainey were quick to put out the fire. But Cole had to be flown via helicopter to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore as he suffered burns on 35% of his body. He will need surgery - possibly multiple surgeries. Andy was hospitalized as well for 2nd degree burns but was released, thank goodness.
I have set up this GoFundMe page for anyone who would like to contribute to their family as they navigate this process. Luckily the house didn't suffer structural damage, however part of the interior needs to be restored and many items will need to be replaced. They will need to remove the carpet, and everything in Cole's room is covered by a thin layer of ash. I am setting the initial goal as $5,000, but that's just because the site requires that I add a goal, and I am not aware of what medical expenses they might incur.
Thank you, in advance, for anything you can do to support their family!
Sincerely,
William Livingston
