Dear family, friends and kind strangers,

I come to you today with a plea for help and support for someone very dear to many of us. Shara has recently received the very difficult news of a bowel cancer diagnosis. All our hearts, alongside Shara's, are heavy with uncertainty as she awaits scans to determine the extent and stage of the disease.

Shara is a vibrant, loving daughter of Christ who genuinely brightens the lives of everyone she meets. She's a devoted wife to Mark and doting mother to 4 precious children, the youngest of which is only 3. She is a cherished friend and a pillar of strength in our community and her unwavering optimism has touched the lives of countless people. Now it's our turn to rally around her in her time of need.

As Shara awaits the results of her scans, the financial burden of her medical care weighs heavily on her and Mark's shoulders.
