On Tuesday, August 20, my family (Stepdad Bill Perry, sister Alisha Perry and nephew Aiden Perry) experienced a house fire. The fire started in the dryer vent and caused significant damage to over half of the house. What wasn’t burned, sustained smoke and water damage. Thankfully no one, including the dog Chloe, were physically injured but there is a long road of repairs ahead. They are currently displaced at a hotel and figuring out next steps until they can return to their home. We’re unsure at this point how long it will be.

As most of you know, we lost our mom in March after a four year battle with ALS. Our family has had a lot of loss this year and I had several people asking me (Heather) how they can help so I’m sharing this campaign to help alleviate some of the initial financial burden they are feeling. We are grateful for any amount you can spare and we’ve been so touched by how many people have reached out to us. We love you all and know we are not alone in this.
