Our dear Morah Kaitlyn, her husband Xavier, and their 15-month-old son Kieran recently lost their home after a tree collapsed atop it during the severe Philly-area thunderstorm on July 11th. Not only this, but their car was also destroyed by a 2nd, fallen tree. The damage is irreparable and they have lost nearly everything they own.

The family is in need of donations to help rebuild their life. Monetary donations will go toward replenishing clothes, food, toiletries, furniture, baby items, and all other basic necessities. The family is also accepting physical donations of toddler clothes (18 - 24 months/2T), diapers (size 6), wipes, toddler books/toys, which can be dropped off at CCJP (527 Lombard Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19147).

Kaitlyn has been a loving and devoted teacher in the CCJP community for the past 6 years. She brings compassion, warmth, and generosity to children, parents, and teachers alike, and is beloved by every student in her care. It is our turn to come together as a community to support Kaitlyn and her family as they journey through this difficult time.
