Help the people of WNC rebuild

A wise, biblical, God-fearing, Jesus-believing man was asked, "What's your ministry's biggest need?" His answer resonates with me: "Obedient people" - J.B.

He wasn't saying he wanted people to do as he told them to, but obedient to what the Lord is calling His people to do.

After feeling led to go to NC to help in the Helene recovery, I've seen with my own eyes and spoken with the people of the affected Asheville, Burnsville, Pensacola, NC area. I know the mainstream media is no longer reporting on the current ongoing issues there. As a retired soldier, I was sent to some pretty devastated countries; when I say that what has happened in the Appalachian Mountains of NC & TN is apocalyptic, there is no other word that can describe it. 6.5 weeks post-Helene & there are still people without electricity. Thank the Lord for those hardworking linemen, 'cause they're doing their best, but it's a process.

What has the Lord put on my heart? When I was leaving the WNC area, I was reminded how Insurance Companies are not covering the majority of the loss there. I'm going to do my best to keep in touch with those on the ground; as the clean up & recovery continues, the needs of the people change & it's going to be a LONG recovery. I'd like to ask friends and family to donate to assist the people of WNC to get the supplies they will need to refinish their homes, electrical wiring, outlets, insulation, dry wall, drywall tape & mud, flooring, pipes and bathroom items.....

I will be working with some of the local hardware, construction supply & lumber businesses that are still operational in the counties that have been affected. This will assist the homeowners who've gone months without paychecks & also help the local economy & business owners.
