Help the People of Rolling Fork, Mississippi

Overnight, the community of Rolling Fork, Mississippi was hit with what is looking to be one of the deadliest tornadoes to ever touch down in Mississippi. The town of Rolling Fork is home to just under 1,800 residents and from all reports, it has been effectively "wiped off the map."

Over the next few years, Rolling Fork will go through the process of assessing damage, clearing debris, and, eventually, rebuilding. Reports indicate that residents are without water and electricity and that the return of effective infrastructure could take years. While there may a lot to do, there are many hands that can help make this process easier. Right now, the media, relief organizations, and religious groups are in Rolling Fork for initial help, but the needs of this community will remain longer than most of these groups.

As an active member of the local community, First Baptist Church Rolling Fork has helped members and residents who have been affected by disasters and unexpected life situations. All funds raised during this GoFundMe will be overseen by First Baptist Church and will go directly to local families in need of shelter, food, clothing, and everything else that has been lost.
