I never imagined I’d be writing this.
Yesterday our friend Joe Pendry had his life changed forever in the blink of an eye. While out hunting near Cranbrook, BC, Joe was the victim of a severe bear attack—an experience that was not only physically traumatic but emotionally shattering for both Joe and Janice. Not many men can say they fight off a grizzly bear but we all know Joe is far from ordinary.
Joe survived, but the road ahead is long and uncertain and he is not out of the woods just yet. Janice remains at his side through this and she needs our help. Joe has sustained serious injuries that required emergency medical care with a life flight to Kelowna. With multiple surgeries on the horizon, no idea when they will return to their home in Cranbrook, and mounting bills for hotels, food…all the things.
Right now every day is a battle—physically to heal, emotionally to stay strong, and financially to keep up with the mounting costs of recovery. In order for Joe and Janice to be able to focus solely on his recovery they need our support
Even a small donation can make a big difference. If you’re unable to give, sharing this page with others would mean the world to me.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing with the Pendry’s during this incredibly difficult time ,
thankyou everyone and please share
