Help the Pelle Family

Our dear friend, Dino Pelle ~ a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, & friend~ the past 6 months Dino has had declining motor and cognitive skills & a barrage of medical tests. The diagnosis is pointing towards a rare, rapidly progressive & fatal neurodegenerative brain disease, (Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease or CJD.)

Dino’s personality shines bright & along with his amazing sense of humor he brings joy and laughter to all those around him. His welcoming and warm nature make each person he encounters feel immediately comfortable.

Dino is currently being cared for by a wonderful team of neurologists, NP’s, nurses and aides on the Neurology floor of the UC Medical Center. After a short time spent in a skilled nursing facility our desire is to bring Dino back to the familiarity of his home so that he can spend cherished time surrounded by his family & friends in a place he feels most comfortable.

As Dino, Becky & family begin this journey, they face mounting medical & care expenses. We hope to relieve as much financial burden as we can for the Pelle Family as they navigate this profoundly difficult time. Any amount you are able to contribute will go directly toward covering Dino’s medical expenses, home nursing care, any necessary physical changes to their home to accommodate and better serve his current needs. Dino, Becky & their entire family feel deeply supported by your thoughts, prayers and loving acts of kindness. We speak on the Pelle Family’s behalf in saying that they love and appreciate each one of you and could not maneuver this tragic diagnosis without God’s grace & the unwavering support of their family, relatives & friends.
