Help The Pederson's recover from home fire
Donation protected
Hey All,
Ryan, Tina, and Kale Pederson are in desperate need of our help. In the wee hours of the morning of February 19, 2022, Ryan woke to the sound of a smoke detector and the sight of flames already engulfing 3 quarters of his home. He had no time to grab anything and had to run through the fire to escape. Tina and Kale were with other family that night and not at home, thank the Lord, so everyone is safe!
The firefighters worked their tails off all through the day to get the fire out and keep it from spreading to the shop, the vehicles, and neighboring properties, and we are forever grateful and thankful for their courage and hard work! Unfortunately the house and everything in it is a total loss.
Now for a little bit about the Pederson family and why they are so deserving of our help! Ryan and Tina got married in 2007, while Ryan was on his 10 day leave before his first deployment. Staff Sargeant Ryan Pederson served our country bravely, in selfless service and dedication to duty, to include 2 deployments to Iraq. He came home to his beautiful wife and baby girl, not without many of the issues that so many combat vets return with after what they have had to endure while deployed to a hostile foreign country. Since home, they have built a life in Ryan's home town of Orofino, Idaho, where they have been active in the community, church, and school.
For the last 3 years, Ryan has been involved in Hope 4 Heroes Corp at Freedom Ranch, providing wounded combat vets a hunting retreat and fellowship with other wounded brothers in arms here in beautiful north central Idaho, selflessly giving his time and resources to help troubled vets. Ryan and Tina open their home to these vets and they always have a spot saved at Tina's table- and some laughs, guaranteed!
Kale is a bright and bubbly 12 year old who always thinks of others before herself and wears her heart on her sleeve. She enjoys school and church, loves her dogs, loves camping trips with family and friends, and loves to go hunting with her dad!
The Pederson's are some of the most selfless people I have ever met, and very humble. So humble in fact, they were hesitant to let us do this gofundme for them. They are more deserving than many, and in more need than ever right now. Every little bit helps and is so greatly appreciated!

There are no specific item needs at this time, because quite frankly, the needs are everything- food, fuel, clothing, pet needs, housewares, furniture and appliances, toiletries, clean up costs, etc, and of course prayer! The power of prayer is profound and welcome!
Right now the family is trying to process the shock of what happened, and they are just so thankful to have each other, safe and sound.
Thank you for reading, considering, donating, and sharing!
