Our family is heartbroken to share the devastating news of the sudden loss of Ana Gutierrez-Cedano, a beloved mother, sister, grandma and friend whose kindness and warmth touched everyone she met. Ana was tragically killed, and her son, Luis Payano-Gutierrez, who is autistic, was also shot and is now fighting to recover from his injuries.

Ana was a devoted mother who lived her life for her children and grandchildren. She loved deeply, and always put her family first. Her passing has left an unimaginable void in the lives of those who knew and loved her.

Now, her daughter Sandy is facing the heartbreaking challenge of planning her mother’s funeral while also stepping in to care for her brother, Luis. Sandy is a loving mother of two herself, and while she is determined to keep her family together, the emotional and financial burden she now carries is overwhelming.
