Help the Parton family

[UPDATE P2*** Kent has been confirmed to be doing amazing!! Doctors say his brain is free from damage and his liver is functioning as normal. The only thing they’re watching is his lungs and respiratory systems (pneumonia). While we are so incredibly happy and excited that this turned out for the best; it does not mean we can turn our heads from the bigger picture. Drug and substance abuse is a very apparent issue and can be prevented with proper safety and surveillance. Make sure to know your limits and trust your body! (It won’t let you down). As of right now, we are so thankful for everyone’s donations and spreading the word all around Columbus. We have raised over half of our initial amount and still have donations flowing in! Thank you all]

Hi everyone, our names are Lula Lee, and Gavin Bonny. Us and our friends and are trying to raise money for a devastating event that happened over this past weekend. Our friend Kent Parton was out with friends when he was admitted to the hospital at 3 in the morning on Saturday, January 29th due to alcohol poisoning. Kent is an amazing friend, person, and to many people including us, family. If there is anything you can do to help support his family in this time, please do. Sharing, donating, and spreading the word about his situation is all we can do as of right now. We know he can make it through; as we will all be waiting for him when he comes back. Anything helps.

As of right now, Kent is in a medically induced coma with no guarantee of being cleared anytime soon. His vitals are stable and he seems to be doing well physically, but brain and liver damage could be a factor, only time will tell. It is so important to shine light on this subject and take into realization that this could happen to anyone. Alcohol and drugs are nothing to joke about and can be detrimental to one’s health and safety if used inappropriately. All we ask is you keep Kent in your prayers and spread the word. Thank you.
