My name is Rachel, and my family has recently experienced a devastating house fire. We have 14 children—8 of whom we have adopted, 3 we are in the process of adopting, and 3 more who are with us through foster care. Overnight, we lost our home and nearly all of our belongings. This has been an incredibly difficult time for us, especially for our children who have already experienced so much loss in their lives. Facing another loss like this is heartbreaking for all of us.

We also homeschool our children, and the fire destroyed much of the curriculum and educational materials we had purchased for them, as well as the portable DVD players we use for learning. The funds raised will go directly toward replacing essentials like bedding, mattresses, bunk beds, food, and clothing, as well as helping us rebuild our homeschooling resources so our children can continue their education without interruption. Every bit of support will help us rebuild and provide some comfort and stability for our kids during this challenging time.
