Hello,

my name is Ivonna Neiksane and I live in Madrid, Spain. I have started this campaign on behalf of a Palestinian family that I came across via Eye on Palestine media account (13.7M followers in Instagram https://www.instagram.com/eye.on.palestine?igsh=NDl2aHo4anh1eGp4). There are five children in family who desperately need help for basic things like winter clothes, household items and food to survive this winter and help them start rebuilding their lives again. Their father Ismail Hassan is a nurse in one of the still functioning hospitals Al-Shifa in Gaza. He shared with me his message for a plea for help.

“Dear compassionate souls,

My name is Ismail Hassan, I am a Palestinian from Gaza. I am now inside Gaza and I write to you from the heart of the ongoing crisis in Gaza. As a nurse in one of Gaza's hospitals, I've dedicated my life to saving others, but now, my own family is in desperate need of help.

The recent bombings have left my home destroyed, shattered into rubble by the relentless airstrikes. My wife (Noor), four boys, and my little girl (My children are Seraj, Sameera, Mohammed, Joud, and Yasser) living in constant fear, surrounded by the echoes of explosions that haunt our streets.

Tragically, I have also lost my brother, my brother-in-law, and my dear mother and father who were martyred in this painful conflict.

I come to you with a please for assistance. to find safety and security away from the devastation that surrounds us. It requires resources that we simply do not have, to meet the minimum requirements of life.

That's why I'm reaching out to you today. Your donation will provide us with the means to find sanctuary, to heal our wounds, both physical and emotional, and to rebuild our shattered lives.
