As some of you know, tragedy has hit one of our own. At 3:00AM on Wednesday 10/27/21, an electrical fire started in the wall of the Palardy's home. Thankfully the smoke alarm woke them, and all 3 generations were able to get out safely. They got the dog out as well, but unfortunately their three cats were not so lucky. Every one of their possessions, with the exception of the pajamas they were wearing, are either gone or severely smoke and water damaged. The house in unlivable at this time, and with supply chain issues and contractors booking out months to a year or more, they do not know when they will be able to move back into their home. They are currently in a hotel mini suite, and are working on a better short-term solution. Since their living situation is still up in the air, what the family needs most right now is funds to help with personal items, groceries, and basic household needs, especially with the holiday season approaching. They are a family of 6: parents, grandparents, and 2 children aged 11 and 13.
