Tragedy struck early this morning, Sunday September 3, 2017 in rural Whitefield, Maine. A beautiful and loving family in our congregations house burned to the ground! Fortunately parent’s John and Melanie along with their daughters Anna, Callista, Shae-Lynn and Christina are all ok physically but they have lost everything! Their dog survived but they are uncertain about their two cats...which on top of everything else has been very difficult for their youngest daughter Christina. 

Things are chaotic and the reality of this situation is still sinking in. They do have some urgent needs that need to be addressed immediately, including Anna’s medication for her type one diabetes and clothing for the entire family. More information and updates to come.
