My name is Dave and I’m fundraising to help my friend and colleague, Denver. Denver, a Marine veteran, has been working in California, and just recently his wife and daughter moved out from Tennessee to join him.

Last week, Denver and his wife Linette left to pick up their 9-year-old daughter Lola from school. They were gone approximately 40 minutes, and when they returned home their new apartment had burned down. They had only lived there one month. They lost everything: their clothes, furniture, family photos, and priceless memorabilia from Denver’s time in the Marines. They are currently living in a hotel, and Denver’s wife and daughter will need to temporarily move back to Tennessee while Denver remains in California to work and save money.

I am setting up this fundraiser to help them rebuild their lives, and to get a fresh start.
