On June 13th, our daughter Macy, her husband Tim, and their infant son Griffin experienced a devastating house fire that destroyed their home and nearly everything they owned. Thankfully, they were not home when the fire started—but the emotional toll has been overwhelming.
Their beloved dog Gwen tragically did not survive the fire. Their other dog, Gus, is currently fighting for his life under emergency veterinary care at Blue Pearl in Tampa . While Macy and Tim work to hold things together through heartbreak and uncertainty, we want to support them in every way possible—and we know many of you do, too.
As parents and grandparents, Kris and I are doing all we can—but the journey ahead is long. We’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease their burden and give them a path to rebuild—with comfort, stability, and the knowledge that they’re not alone.
Funds raised will help with:
- Emergency housing and essential living expenses
- Clothing, baby care needs, and daily essentials for Griffin
- Veterinary care for Gus as he continues to fight
- Grief counseling and emotional support
- Replacing essential household items
- A tribute to honor Gwen, who was so deeply loved
