Help the Ortiz’s say goodbye to Grandma

On Tuesday evening, my heart shattered as I unexpectedly lost my grandmother—my biggest supporter, my best friend, and the most loving person I’ve ever known. She dedicated her life to family and community. Her home was always open, her table always full, and her laughter always present.

As we prepare to say our final goodbyes, my sisters and I are trying to make the trip from Dallas to Waterbury, Connecticut, for her service this Wednesday. We’re asking for donations to help cover gas, hotel stays, and food along the way.
