My family and I are starting this GoFundMe page for our dear family friends, The Ortiz family, whose lives were forever changed by a heartbreaking tragedy.

On February 6th at approximately 11:15 pm, Genry and Patty Ortiz were driving home from church with their daughter Erin when a driver struck their vehicle head-on at a high speed. Tragically, Genry and Patty lost their lives in the crash.

Their children, Erin and David, are now left to face a future forever altered by this devastating loss.

Erin survived the accident, but she sustained severe and life-altering injuries. She is currently facing a long and difficult road to recovery that will require extensive medical care, rehabilitation, and ongoing support.

David, their son, is grieving the sudden loss of both parents while doing his best to support his sister during her recovery. In an instant, both siblings were forced into a reality no one should ever have to face.

Genry and Patty were hardworking, loving people who devoted their lives to their family, their faith, and their community. They were deeply involved in their church and were always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Their kindness, strength, and unwavering faith touched so many lives, and the world is darker without their bright lights in it.
