Help Camila Ortiz battle Leukemia - Camila Strong

Donation protected
July 18, 2024, the Ortiz Family received the incredibly heartbreaking and devastating news that every parent fears; their sweet, fun loving, adventurous, 22 month old daughter, Camila was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera, California.

Camilla will be at Valley Children's receiving chemo treatments for the next 30 days and we will update you with new information as it becomes available.

Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a cancer that affects the white blood cells. These cells fight infection and help protect the body against disease. Patients with ALL have too many immature white blood cells in their bone marrow. These cells crowd out normal white blood cells. Without enough normal white blood cells, the body has a harder time fighting infections.
ALL affects a type of white blood cell called lymphocytes, causing them to build up in the liver, spleen and lymph nodes.

As you know medical expenses, and the day-to-day expenses that come with having a child in the hospital for any amount of time can be very overwhelming. Stephanie and Isaiah will be taking some time off of work for the foreseeable future to care for Camila during this time. Losing an income on top of all of the new bills and travel expenses will undoubtedly be very challenging, which is why this GoFundMe was created. It is our goal that we can ease this burden in any way, when you are helping your child fight their battle against cancer the last thing they should have to worry about is finances.

Any donation or support is so greatly appreciated and will go directly to The Ortiz Family to help them during this time.
