It is with a heavy heart that the Ortiz family is saddened to announce the passing of our rock of the family, Nevin William Ortiz Sr. Nevin went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 7th, 2025, with all his family by his side in Las Cruces, NM. He fought long and hard but was tired; he is now at peace and resting.

NevDogg, as we liked to call him, was such a wholehearted, kind, and loving person. He would take the clothes off his back just to help someone out. He was loved by all and will be deeply missed. He leaves behind his wife and three boys, his parents, three brothers, three sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Anything helps and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! This isn’t easy for us, but we are strong together! God bless you all from the Ortiz Family
