Help The Orchard Community
Donation protected
We have a lot of support with our clients, and we are so grateful for all of the support we have received and continue to receive. With this pandemic, many businesses are suffering. The Orchard is no different.
Overall, there's been a huge loss of business and opportunity, whether required by the state, needing to shift how things are done, or for clients losing their own jobs or fear for their own health.
This is to help the community overall--the teachers who teach who can't do Zoom classes, the healers who can't come in. It's to help these super small businesses who wouldn't exactly qualify for a small business loan.
We house many businesses, each affected in different ways:
~ Under Pressure Therapeutics has to close through April 30 and dismiss all of the employees until we can reopen
~ Touch of the East Acupuncture has closed through April 14
~ Dr. Lorraine Caron has closed for a month
~ The Salt Cave has had to close through April 30
~ The FoCo Yoga Coop has had to close, cancelling classes for various yoga teachers or special workshops for other businesses, including sound journeys, tai chi classes, special Yin and Yoga Nidra classes, and more
~ We've had to postpone adding more classes until we know when we can reopen
~ Counselors are losing clients and needing to switch to teletherapy
~ She Leads has had to move to Zoom
~ Coaches and energy healers can't practice in person sessions, which has made coaching dip
~ Our Meetup groups can't meet here during this time
Even with all of this happening, we still have rent and other business expenses to pay in order to open when we can resume operations as normal, whatever that may look like in the coming months.
Please help support our community. This Center really is community driven and supported, and this has been such a huge blow to us. If you are suffering, please do NOT feel obligated to contribute; instead share this with your friends.
We have a lot of ways you can support us during this time.
You can donate to this Go Fund Me.
If you'd like to purchase a gift certificate for a massage at 25% off, you can.
If you'd like to purchase a gift certificate for the Salt Cave at 20% off, you can and use the code FIGHTCOVID at checkout.
We do have salt products on sale for 20% off as well--you can always email [email redacted] for pictures or questions and to arrange pickup.
Debi Ireland with Touch of the East Acupuncture has herbs and CBD that can be ordered directly online to help support her during this time.
Summer Maid with Neurish is still doing telehealth sessions, and many of the counselors are also still offering telehealth services. Please contact them for more details.
You can also Venmo @Marissa-Orchard if you'd prefer to not use this platform.
Another thing that can help us is leaving Google and Facebook reviews, both for The Orchard and for the individual businesses within The Orchard. For a full list, please visit our website. You can also follow us on social media and interact and share posts. That keeps our spirits up and helps us keep on keeping on.
We will continue to update on ways you can support this community.
Thank you, and stay safe and healthy!
