Update: Cathy had her first surgery-

she has two no-nippled, rippled, dimpled, crippled Titties!

She is VERY happy with her results so far and her Doctor performed one of the hardest surgeries he’s ever done. It was 13 hours long! She is currently recovering in New York…

But, she will have to have more surgeries. There is normally 3 phases to this type of reconstruction. The biggest goal she had was to alleviate her nerve pain. Cathy currently feels the nerve pain she was having is gone! To be certain, she will have to get off the nerve meds she’s been taking for 4 years and she looks forward to working with her pain medication doctors back home. Her surgeon is a conquering awesome boob designer. She is scheduled for another surgery in December of this year.

What else can I say about Cathy?

Well…

For one, she is a true and utter bad ass. She’s a stronger woman than I that’s for sure, and I’m just stoked she’s still here so I can tell you that.

In April of 2018, when Cathy was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer (IBC), they also diagnosed her with a 15% chance of surviving the next 3 years.

15 fucking percent people!

Only 2-5 percent of all breast cancers are IBC. She was at stage 3.

From May-October 2018, she endured that wretched bastard Chemo, which meant losing all her hair and enduring a sickness that no one wants to bear. In October, the doctors said her best chance of survival would be a mastectomy of her left breast. So she had them take that titty off, because the cancer continued to grow. After a biopsy, they had barely cut out the cancer by 1mm. This meant massive amounts of radiation and losing what energy she had left to keep going. So many odds were against her. Her mind, body, spirit, and faith empowered her to keep fighting. And fight she did. Yet, she still had more chemo to go through. I can only imagine the strength it took not only for Cathy, but her husband and two young boys to endure so much vulnerability. On Thanksgiving Day 2020, after almost 3 years of chemo, Cathy was able to ring that blessed bell signifying the end of her long road through treatment. Cathy made it out of that fucker ALIVE!

I want to see this beautiful woman feel like the goddess we have always seen, once again within herself.

Cathy has made it through the other side of IBC, but she still has a long road ahead.

The aftermath of cancer, and its toll on her body and mind could seem insurmountable, yet she now has a chance to become whole again.

With the support of her husband and mother, Cathy has made the trip to New York for the long road of reconstruction. She is headed for the mastectomy of her other breast to reduce the chances of that wretched fucker cancer returning.

Fuck Cancer in its stupid fucking face!

This Friday, August 5th, her doctor will start the process by performing DIEP flap reconstruction and taking tummy tissue to reconstruct breast tissue on both sides.

This is just phase one, and there are 3 stages.

With the first phase of reconstruction, Cathy, her mother and her husband will need to stay in New York for a month to be closely monitored by her doctor. She will then have to return twice for more surgery, check-ups and monitoring. And New York isn’t cheap y’all! One can only imagine the financial burden this has taken on her family.

So I ask of you, if you have the means to stand next to her during this next fight she has laid before her, please help her on her way to feeling back to the strong ass woman we all know. If you are her friend, you know how fortunate we all are to have this woman still standing by our side. I am thankful to have such a powerhouse as my backup every day.

I would take all the lop-sided hugs I can get if that means I can at least still get them.

But for Cathy, she needs to feel whole again.

She’s come out the other side of this, and now she deserves to feel like the best version of herself. To live her best life forward with her wonderfully supportive husband and two ridiculously adorable boys. To me, she’s still the same beautiful soul I’ve known and loved since the age of 4. I want her to see on the outside what we all have always seen on the inside.

She may give me a paper cut between my fingers for this, but frankly, I don’t give a shit!
