Help the Olvera's recover

Hi my name is Rachel Aguirre and I am fundraising for my sister Marlen and her family the Olveras. 2021 has been a hard year for us all in many ways but their family has been through more than their share.

Despite being fully vaccinated, Marlen's husband Will contracted a breakthrough case of COVID-19 from someone at work. To make matters worse this happened only weeks before they were expecting delivery of a new baby girl. Marlen was 9 months pregnant and had just taken her leave from work when Will went into the hospital with low oxygen levels. Thankfully after over a week in hospital he was released and able to come home before the birth of their daughter Ariela Sophia. Although he couldn't be with Marlen during the birth, at least they knew he was at home on the road to recovery.

Things were looking up finally...then just a few days ago their car was stolen from the driveway attached to their house. Inside was the portable Oxygen tank that Will had borrowed from the hospital in order to get around; a baby stroller; an infant car seat; supplies from a shopping run; and a laptop that one of their kids uses for schoolwork.

They are completely devastated, and now the car insurance company is refusing to cover any of the costs. They bought this car less than 3 months ago in preparation for supporting their expanded family but now it's become a huge financial burden. Marlen is terrified to tell the hospital about the theft in case they are liable for the cost of the Oxygen tank.

I am hoping to recoup some of their costs so they can get back on their feet, anything you can spare will help this struggling family. Neither Marlen nor Will can work right now, and they are trying as hard as they can to get by on their small savings.
