In Loving Memory of Sarah “Cassie” Olson

We are heartbroken to share that my beloved mother, Sarah “Cassie” Olson, passed away unexpectedly over the weekend at the age of 55.

Cassie was a bright light in so many lives—a woman with a huge heart, a giving soul, and a deep love for her family and friends. She always showed up for others, offering support, love, and laughter when it was needed most. Now, we want to show up for her and give her the farewell she truly deserves.

Cassie had been living in California, but her heart belonged to North Carolina—a place she had fallen in love with and hoped to return to one day. Sadly, that dream went unfulfilled. With no life insurance in place and limited resources, we are reaching out for help.

We’re raising funds to cover the costs of a Celebration of Life service that reflects the beautiful, generous, and spirited woman Cassie was. Every donation will go directly toward funeral expenses, memorial arrangements, and helping us honor her memory in the way she deserves.

As a military family currently stationed at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, Texas, one of our deepest hopes is to be able to travel and see her one last time—to say our loving goodbyes in person. Your support will not only help us with the arrangements but will also give us the chance to find closure and honor her with the dignity she so deeply earned.
