My husband Josh was seriously injured at work in December 2025, suffering a traumatic brain injury and a torn rotator cuff. As a 1099 worker, he has no paid leave or steady income, and our family’s world has been turned upside down. The effects of his injury have made daily life extremely difficult for all of us, especially our children. Josh’s recovery has been slow, and he is unable to drive or work, which has put a huge strain on our family. I’m doing my best to care for Josh, our sons James and Brendan, my daughter Savannah, and my grandson Waylon, but we are struggling to keep up with bills and basic needs. We need help to keep our only reliable vehicle, pay overdue car insurance, cover rent, utilities, groceries, medical expenses, and homeschooling costs.
