Help the Olgin Family After Eaton Fire Loss
Donation protected
Our beloved friend and long-time Altadena resident, Emile Olgin and his beautiful family have lost their home to the Eaton Fire. Emile attended La Salle Preparatory School and is now currently away in Japan at the Fire Academy in order to be certified and join Honolulu Fire in hopes of becoming a wonderful fireman. He was unable to say goodbye to his childhood home, and his parents were only able to pack a few essential items in an overnight bag. We can't imagine the amount of sorrow and healing this family is going through, especially due to the sheer unexpectedness of the events that have unfolded.
We have had the utmost privilege of getting to knowing the Olgin family for the past years through attending La Salle Preparatory. In knowing the family for so long we have grown closer and love them dearly, so much so that they are an extension of our families and wish to support them as much as possible.
This cherished home was filled with memories, and due to it being in a more private sector of the Altadena mountain range, there was less easy access for fire help to get on scene immediately. We are devastated to see this beautiful home and the generous community of homes surrounding it be gone in an instant. While we are so glad his parents are safe, we can't imagine the burden the loss of this home will take on this family, and we wish to be a pillar of strength for them and give back to this generous and loving family as much as possible.
