Hey y'all. I'm Kate Okojie and over the past 3 weeks I've been in the hospital 3 times, the last time for nearly a week long stay. (I was even in the ER on my birthday and my husband's birthday this past month.) My compounding health diagnoses (severe anemia and pneumonia) have left me unable to work right now and on full time oxygen. After much medication and tests, an iron infusion, and a blood transfusion, I am grateful to simply breathe-- even with assistance.

I am blessed to be a mom of two daughters, wife to an extraordinary man, and serve our future generations as a Faith & Justice Youth Minister. While my body is on this healing journey we need help from our community to cover the gap in our expenses. It will be a few more weeks before I am 100% and we need help paying rent, childcare, and car bills.
