Help the O’Hair family with medical expenses

Hello friends. My name is Marcie Warren.  I work with and am a friend of Dennis O’Hair. His friend,Joel Larson,  and I have put this fundraiser together to help the O’Hair family with expenses related to their daughter’s medical emergency.

 

Last Friday, Ava had an eye doctor appointment to find out why she was having vision problems. During the exam, the doctor discovered increased pressure around the optic nerve in her eye that was causing her to lose vision in one eye. She was emergently referred to Sacred Heart Medical Center for an MRI scan to try to discover the cause. After an afternoon of tests and admission to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for high blood pressure in addition to optic nerve pressure, it was determined that she would receive the best care possible at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Ava and Tiana, were flown to Seattle by air ambulance. Dennis drove over to join them, and they have been there since.

 

Over the last few days, Ava has had many tests to determine the cause of her high blood pressure with no definitive answer. She still faces more diagnostics tests and scans to determine the cause of her health issues.

 

In the meantime, the O’Hair family is facing unexpected expenses for travel and lodging while they get the best care possible for Ava. And, the medical costs will be mounting, especially for medical air transport from Spokane to Seattle.

 

The funds raised here will be used for their upcoming medical bills and to allow them to stay in Seattle with their daughter as she receives treatment.
