On the night of October 23rd, severe storms swept through North Texas. Tragically, lightning struck the home of Cyril Nyankerh and Akosua Boateng, igniting a fire that quickly spread and left their house completely destroyed.
By God’s grace, Cyril, Akosua, their baby boy Ethan, and Akosua’s mother, Doris, all made it out safely — but their home and nearly everything inside are gone. This house was brand new, just built this year, and they had only moved in this summer.
Right now, the Nyankerh family is facing the overwhelming reality of starting over — finding temporary housing, replacing clothes, food, and everyday essentials, and eventually rebuilding what was lost.
We’re asking friends, family, and neighbors to rally around them during this heartbreaking time. Every donation — big or small — will go directly toward helping them meet immediate needs and begin the long process of recovery.
Your generosity will help the Nyankerhs find stability again and remind them that they’re not alone in this.
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
Thank you for showing love and compassion to this wonderful family as they rebuild from the ashes.
