Hoping to help this wonderful family ease the financial burden of what they are going through. When they should be home resting with sweet Monroe
Kaelynn & Noah Nolte welcomed baby Monroe on 02/26/25 & after a little Helicopter ride, he’s being treated at Oakland Children’s Hospital. This is to help Noah & Kaelynn stay in Oakland while Monroe heals, and help with what will be some heavy medical bills
Here is an update from family
Monroe was born yesterday afternoon a little after 4. He had some pretty significant complications just after birth. The cord or the placenta ruptured causing him a lot of bleeding. He was great right up until the birth. When he came out he was code white, meaning he was bleeding out. The had to perform CPR and inhabited him. He took a helo ride to Oakland Children’s at about 10pm. Matt & April followed him down with Noah and made it down around 12:30. Noah was able to stay with him and we all took a very uncomfortable nap in the runner from about 3am till 6:30. He had a small seizure on the flight down from the trauma of not having oxygen to the brain for about 8 minutes. They started cooling him as soon as he got down here to mitigate the potential for more longterm brain injury and seizures. They took out tube to his tummy and plan on taking out the breathing tube soon hopefully! They have about 24 leads hooked to his little head to track his brain function and as of now it’s looking good. They won’t know for sure until the 72 hour mark when they start to bring up his body temp. He’s passed the 24 hour critical mark with no other seizures so that’s great. Kaelynn was discharged this morning, only after a day, and is down here with Monroe. They will do an MRI when he is 7 days old and he will possibly need another blood transfusion ! They will be here for at least 7 days most likely, maybe more!! Please pray for the Nolte family!!
