Help the Niven family to a fresh start

This quote struck me recently on praying about whether to upload our personal struggles on here for the world to see, and how to go about asking friends for real help in a sometimes seemingly impossible situation.
For those of you that know me personally, you know that ours financial situation has been up and down over the last few years. We have never really been able to keep our head above water, and now more than ever - things seem hopeless.
If you don't know me personally, my name is Jon - and I have an incredible family. An amazing, beautiful wife who is an incredible mom to 2 wonderful kids. I have been a Catholic musician professionally for about 20 years now, and have been involved in Church music ever since the age of 9 in my hometown. I am blessed to do what I love for a living, to help people encounter Jesus through music. It has been one of the best things in my life.
So, onto the reality....
Right now, I'm asking for your help in getting us a fresh start financially. We have fallen behind in virtually every aspect of our financial life, and as I mentioned it feels hopeless. There are debts that are following us, bills that are getting left unpaid, and on a few occasions we have almost lost our apartment.
With losing 100% of my music events in 2020 and into 2021 it has left us tremendously at a loss for income. We have been trying avenues with the SBA, and local assistance outreach - but nothing has been successful. I am currently in the process of building a 2nd business to help Churches with their website management and social media presence during this time of pandemic, but it takes time to get off the ground.
I am hoping to raise roughly $12,500 to get us completely caught up and ready to be able to face life again with our heads above water.

* give you some online guitar lessons
* lead worship virtually for your parish
* walk your dog forever (not really, but you know what I mean)
