I am Corey Nichols and on 4/26/2026 my wife of 23 years, Michele, passed unexpectedly at the age of 55. We have 4 children, Jessica, Jacob, Zee, and Mia, we always knew we wanted a decent size family, given that both her and I were only children. After our second child, Jacob, was born Michele wanted to stay home to be able to be the mother she wanted to be. Soon after came Zee and Mia little later after that. Although times were difficult with only 1 income, we somehow managed to make our little family work. As time moved on, she got to see the fruits of her labor as our children grew into young adults that she was very proud of. Life was not without its challenges however as our son has been living with a spinal defect from birth that has created physical complications that deeply impact his quality of life. We had been working towards being able to get the surgery he needs to help improve his situation when she passed. We were also struggling with expenses as my contract had ended just recently and I was searching for a job when this tragedy fell upon us. So it is that I am reaching out to the kindness of others for help with costs of Michele's funeral as none of us were ready for anything like this. Anything that you might consider donating would be so deeply appreciated and everything donated will be used towards the cost of the funeral and anything over that will be used towards making sure our children are provided for. We miss her very much and it would go a long way if I could tell her she didn't have to worry about us anymore.
