Vincent recently received a precious gift of life, a new kidney, for his 61st birthday after suffering renal failure which lead to dialysis treatments 3 to 4 times a week for the past 2 years. Vin resides in West Haven with his loving wife, Lori, of 18 years of marriage, daughter Miranda attending college studying Bio with the path to pre-med, son Vin, niece Hannah and nephew Marcus all attending high school and active athletes.

Due to anti rejection medications that weakens the immune system, Lori needed to take time off from work to care for her husband during the most important times of the healing process of the transplant. In addition to lost wages, cost of health insurance, there is the cost of additional medications that are costly even after insurance deductions which are critically important to keeping Vin healthy and the kidney fully functioning.
