Rebuild Hope: Help the Musleh Family in Gaza

Donation protected
My name is Anna, and I have started this fundraiser to support my friend Israa in Gaza. The family being supported by this campaign are parents Israa Nidal Ahmed Musleh (25 years old) and Ahmed Ziad Ahmed Musleh (27 years old); their four children are Leen (8 years old), Naama (6 years old), Zina (4 years old) baby Ziad (10 months old, as of July 2024).

Due to the ever-evolving situation there are two possible ways that the funds raised will be used. For transparency we are listing both of these below.

Current goal of the funds raised: Israa has stated her main goal is bringing her children to safety so the current plan is to evacuate the family via Hala Travel Agency. While the border is still closed we are estimating the evacuation fee at around $5,000 per child and $10,000 per adult but once the border reopens we will reassess whether the fees have changed. Israa has a family member who lives in Kuwait who I will be sending the funds via Western Union. This relative will coordinate the evacuation fees with the Egyptian border.

Alternative use of funds: Israa really loves Gaza and really does not want to leave. If the situation becomes safe enough for the family to stay in Gaza and get medical attention for her children the funds will be used to rebuild their home which was destroyed in the attacks on the region.

Please read about her situation and donate if you can:

“Hello, I am Israa Musleh, 25 years old. I had a beautiful family of six: my husband, who is 27, three daughters, and a son. A week before October 7, we were very happy with the arrival of my son, Ziad, who is now ten months old. Our home provided us with everything, and our life was full of luxury and enjoyment. After a five-year break from education due to financial difficulties, I enrolled in university and achieved excellent grades. Then came the shameful October 7, which completely destroyed our lives. It destroyed my house, my dream, my studies, and my husband's job. We were displaced on the first day of the war to a school in the northern Gaza Strip, and then we moved to several places. Now, I am displaced for the tenth time in Mawasi Khan Younis. After a month of the war, my son was injured by the Zionist occupation from inhaling the gas they threw at us in the shelters. He was only 45 days old. My daughter, Naama, who is six, also had her head burned by the Zionist occupation. Now, we live in a very unsafe tent in an area where it is difficult to access water and food, and there are no clothes available for the children. I hope you can help me and my family so I can treat my injured son and daughter, continue my university studies, and finally rebuild my house.

Thank you.”

We appreciate you taking the time to read about the Musleh family. We hope that you can donate, but if you cannot, please share this campaign with others so that the family can reach their fundraising goal as soon as the border reopens.
