The Murphy Family has lived in Altadena for 30 years and tragically lost their home in the Eaton Fire. Due to the strong winds and hurricane of flames, they awoken to embers and their neighbor’s house burning. With no power and poor visibility from smoke and flames, they barely made it out safely. Although we are grateful that they made it out safely, the speed of evacuation meant that they left with nearly nothing. Sadly, the next day, they discovered their home had completely burnt to the ground. Nothing was left. We would like to help them get back on their feet.
