As you may or may not know Heather Muir’s husband Bill has been ill for the better part of two years. In 2016 he experienced a blood disorder which impacted the mobility in his legs, leaving him in a wheel chair and at times bedridden. Although he has seen many different doctors, they have not been able to diagnose the cause or offer any corrective measures. He has had good times and bad times since then, but has not been anywhere close to resuming his life prior to this experience.
Over Easter weekend, Bill suffered a stroke. The doctors have said that the stroke is unrelated to his other issues. He would need more testing to pinpoint the cause and decide on the next course of action. Bill then developed an infection in his lungs which the doctors have not been able to clear up. With this infection, Bill was having problems breathing so he has been placed on life support and is currently in a drug induced coma.
Heather is managing day by day. She has been away form work to support Bill and their three children for some time now and needs our help. With Bill owning his own business he would not have any short term or long term disability income so they are living on Heather’s income alone. Of course you can expect there would be a lot of additional costs involved with this traumatic situation.
Please open your heart and your wallet and help our friend Heather out. Every little bit helps!
