Help the Mourning Family Rebuild After Fire

My name is Lauren Archiere. I am a friend of the Mourning family, and their daughter participates in Marching Band & Color Guard with my child at Danbury High School. I'm writing this on behalf of the Mourning family, who have recently lost everything in a house fire, including their family cat.

Their family consists of two parents and their daughter, Ava, a talented member of our Marching Band and Color Guard family. Their family is the sweetest and most caring people a community could ask for. In recent years, they suffered a tremendous tragedy after unexpectedly losing their oldest daughter, Jada. We fear they may have lost their oldest daughter's belongings as well. These items can never be replaced.

Our DHS Marching Band & Color Guard is a small but tight-knit family. We are starting a GoFundMe to help Ava and her family.

All proceeds will go directly to the Mourning family. Jennifer Mourning is the beneficiary and will have sole access to the money raised. They will use this money to replace everything they've lost in the fire. The family had to evacuate quickly and left all of their possessions behind. This money will help them get clothing, replace lost electronics, Ava's ice skates, food, and the temporary home they will need to stay at until their home can be rebuilt.
