Help the Somis Equestrian Community Affected by Devastating Wildfire

Dear friends, family, and supporters,

As many of you know, a devastating wildfire, the “Mountain Fire”, has ripped through our beloved community in Somis, California, and the surrounding equestrian facilities. The fire has burned over 14,000 acres, leaving 80 homes destroyed, and many animals lost or displaced. The fire is currently 0% contained, and the situation is still dire.

Many of our local stables, barns, and equipment have been fully destroyed. On top of that our horses and pet are at risk which has been heartbreaking. We are doing everything we can to keep everyone safe, but the road to recovery will be long and costly.

We are reaching out to you, our extended community, for help. The funds raised here will go directly to:

• Emergency medical care for injured animals and livestock.

• Rebuilding barns and stables, and replacing lost equipment and supplies.

• Providing shelter, food, and water for animals that have been displaced.

• Supporting affected families and staff who are facing the loss of their homes and livelihood.
