Hi everyone. I’m Lorena, a very proud daughter in law who was welcomed into the Morison’s family with open arms (and hearts). It couldn’t be any different coming from this family who has dedicated their lives for the service of others for over 35 years. On the course of their lives, they made their purpose be helping people overcome drug issues, domestic violence, and any other help they were asked to give. They became references for the community of Levin, in NZ. People in trouble ran to them because they knew they will be helped without judgment. Now it’s time for us to put our hearts together to help them out. Not long ago, Angus was diagnosed with cancer. He already has a even more extreme condition in which the doctors can’t find out exactly what is, but it’s keeping him away from being able to work. Carole, who was working with restorative justice, also had to cut her hours to take care of him. As a family, they know the priority is to take care of each other in moments of need. It happens that both of them are currently kept away from work due this life event, and there is no possible income coming. Government has refused help. All the bills for cancer surgery, exams, treatment, etc , have taken out all their savings plus the money they borrowed from the bank. There’s more to be payed for and no idea how that’s going to happen. I can not watch this without taking action simply because I know how many people they have helped, by giving what they had and what they didn’t have. Life needs to be fair! Please help this family support themselves through this hard moment. I’m sure this message will reach many people, including all of those whose hearts have been touched by them at some point. Anything is welcome. If you can contribute with money, any quantity you can afford, that is a brilliant practical way to help. Prayers and helping to spread the message are also highly appreciated.
