Hi everyone,

This past Monday, my family and I were hit by a devastating flood in South Plainfield New Jersey. Everything happened so fast, and we’re still trying to take it all in. In just a few hours, we lost so much.

We’re now without all our winter clothes, shoes, food, and holiday decorations we’ve had for years. We also lost our pets’ supplies — dog food, rabbit food, bedding — and all the essentials in our home like the washer, dryer, boiler, and refrigerator.

On top of that, my dad lost both of his work trucks, all of his landscaping equipment (weed whacker, leaf blower, mower, snow plow etc. ) and his office space (desk, computer, documents, etc.) His business is how he provides for us, so this hit extra hard.

To make things more stressful, I’m currently preparing for vet school — something I’ve worked so hard for and am really proud of. But as excited as I am, it also adds a huge financial burden on my family, especially now with everything we’re facing.

We’re doing our best to stay positive and push through, but it’s tough. If you’re able to donate or even just share this, it would mean so much to us. Every little bit helps — whether it’s replacing our clothes, food, pet supplies, or helping my dad rebuild his business so we can get back on track.
