On Thursday, March 19, our world was turned upside down. A devastating fire tore through the family home of my fiancé, Travis, and his sister, Ginger. In the wake of the flames, they didn't just lose the roof over their heads and every childhood memory inside—they lost their beloved father.
Watching Travis and Ginger navigate this level of grief is heartbreaking. As they begin the painful process of saying goodbye, they are also facing the overwhelming reality of picking up the pieces of destruction.
I am starting this fundraiser to help my future husband and his sister find their footing again. The funds raised will go directly toward:
Funeral and memorial arrangements to honor their father’s life.
Immediate clean-up of the destruction.
And to re-build a structure in the place of the house.
No amount of money can bring back what was lost that day, but I am hoping we can at least take the weight of financial stress off their shoulders while they mourn. If you are able to donate, even the smallest amount helps more than you know. If you aren’t in a position to give, please consider sharing this link and keep Travis, Ginger, and their entire family in your prayers.
With love and gratitude,
Rebecca
