Late on the night of August 9th, at 11:30pm, Emily and Hunter Moon were woken by police pounding on their door with terrifying news — their backyard was on fire. The blaze, suspected to be caused by fireworks from nearby neighbors, quickly spread, filling their home with thick smoke and leaving nearly all of their belongings damaged or destroyed.

Emily, Hunter, and their sweet 3-year-old son are safe — and for that we are so grateful. But the fire and smoke have taken everything from them: clothes, furniture, bedding, baby items, and cherished keepsakes. They now face the heartbreaking task of starting completely from scratch.

We are rallying around the Moon family to help them replace the essentials and create a safe, stable space for their family again. Every donation will go directly toward:

• Clothing and shoes for the family

• Bedding, furniture, and household basics

• Food and kitchen supplies

• Temporary living needs while they recover
