The Mitchell Family, friends of ours, experienced an unimaginable tragedy this morning when a devastating fire on Lantern Hill Rd in the Mystic/Stonington area destroyed their home. It was a total loss, and they escaped with only the clothes on their backs. Thankfully, the entire family and their beloved dog Ollie made it out safely, but they are now facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over with nothing.
The funds raised will help the Mitchell Family replace everyday living essentials that we all take for granted—temporary housing, clothing, food, toiletries, pet supplies, phones, and more.
